ShiftPay
Privacy Policy
ShiftPay is designed around private, on-device recordkeeping and sharing that you control.
Information you enter
ShiftPay handles job names, hourly rates, pay schedules, overtime rules, saved rotations, shift changes, notes, reminders, and related settings that you choose to enter.
How the information is used
Your entries are used to display the shift calendar, calculate gross-pay estimates, show payday and overtime context, schedule optional reminders, and prepare compact iPhone widget snapshots.
Local-first storage
ShiftPay does not require an account, backend, ads, or analytics. Schedule and pay information stays on your device unless you intentionally share information through an operating-system feature.
Apple services
Apple processes App Store purchases and restores. Optional notifications and iPhone widgets use Apple platform services and device permissions.
Your choices
You can edit or delete shifts and job details in the app, decline optional permissions, manage subscriptions in your Apple Account, or remove locally stored app data by uninstalling ShiftPay.
Retention and deletion
On-device records remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app and its local data. Exported copies remain wherever you chose to save or share them and must be deleted from those destinations separately.
Children
ShiftPay is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated backend. A parent or guardian should supervise any information kept on a child’s device or profile.
Policy changes
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated. Material changes will be described where required by the app or App Store listing.
Contact and requests

ShiftPay estimates gross pay only. It is not an official earnings record and does not calculate taxes, deductions, or take-home pay.
